Textile Manufacturing Companies, Member of the Palmar Group, having a production capacity of 1200 tons of fabric and 3.5 million garments per year.
My main responsibilities included the management of all Production activities as well as the technical and capital investment aspects of the Division
JULY 1988 – JUNE 1998 OPERATIONS DIRECTOR – COROTEX LTD
A Textile manufacturing company with a production capacity of 1500 tons of fabric and 4 million garments per year and employing 1500 people.
Joined the company as Dyehouse Manager and in 1991, I was given the responsibilities of the whole production of the company as Production Manager. The responsibilities included fabric manufacturing and garment manufacturing.
In 1993, I was promoted to the post of Production Executive and was promoted to OPERATIONS DIRECTOR in 1996.
My responsibilities included : Production as well as Project, Technical and Quality Management of the company.
JAN 1987 – JUNE 1988
Manager at Optical Lenses Manufacturing Ltd. Started in the company as Production Manager then took over the Marketing and Sales Division. I was responsible to run the production team and develop the sales in the PTA countries and follow up exports to the mother company in Europe.
MAR 1985 – DEC 1986
Manager at Synresins Co. Ltd. (Part of Mauvilac Group). Started as Production Manager and after one year was promoted as Manager, responsible for running this production unit of 6 people manufacturing a semi finished product for the paint industry.
