Ravi Subrahmanyam is a SupplyChain Consultant , Entreprenuer and Trainer, heads a Dubai based Consulting firm LaunchPad International. He possesses Masters Degrees in Polymer Engineering and Masters in Quality Management from Australian University.
He held various Supply Chain & Logistics positions for over 23 years with leading FMCG Multinational Companies like Warner Lambert , Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser in Indian Sub Continent , Europe and Africa and Middle east. His last assignment was with Reckitt Benckiser as Regional Supply Chain Director for MENA region for $350 Million complex business consisting of over 2000 sku , 35 manufacturing locations and aggressive business calendar of new products and promotions across the year.
Very passionate about New Business Development , Business Planning , Brand Building, Marketing , Manufacturing & SupplyChain efficiencies and Automation. As a Project Head he had setup different manufacturing green field sites in the region. Some of the key projects Ravi was involved being Largest Ice Cream facility for Walls Ice cream in Saudi Arabia , Worlds largest LiptonTea factory in Jebel Ali for Unilever.
He is actively involved in Consulting & Training through out his career and currently helping various organisation in the Africa and Middle East Region and India on Projects, SupplyChain efficiencies and Innovation Management.
His current role LaunchPad International deals in Project Management, Innovation , Supply Chain Design & Optimisation & Training and Quality Management Systems..LaunchPad has built various manufacturing projects and logistics and distribution warehouses ,helped various clients in improving their Supply Chain efficiency. Improved Skill base via various corporate training programs.
He is currently the Managing Director of LaunchPad. Director of Star Modern Industries and Also President of SCLG ( Global Supply Chain & Logistics Group) , member of Mumbai Round table CSCMP and Member of Supply Chain Asia. He is a mentor for MBA Supply Chain students of various Universities . He is a key note speaker & Moderator in various supply chain conferences in Asia and Africa & Middleeast.
